The Exchange School Meal Program will provide wholesome, nutritious meals to eligible students in participating OCONUS Department of Defense schools. The Exchange provides school lunch to K-12 students on Army and Air Force Installations in 9 countries overseas. We follow the same USDA guidelines as schools throughout the United States.
How many meals are served in the school meal program?
In school year 2017-2018, we served 14,500 meals per day for a total of more than 2.5 million meals during the year. We support programs in 74 school cafeterias for on Army and Air Force Installations throughout Europe and the Pacific including 1 Marine installation in Misawa.

In school year 2018-2019, AAFES served 16,500 meals per day for a total of more than 2.6 million meals during the year. We support programs in 76 school cafeterias on Army and Air Force Installations throughout Europe and the Pacific including all Marine installations in Okinawa and one Marine installation in Iwakuni.
